As Elise (Stevie Moon) wraps up her shift at the coffee shop, Ryder (Lucky Fate), a new customer, walks in and places an order. Elise senses something is up with Ryder, and when she goes to get him coffee, he begins making crude and hurtful remarks directed at her. Elise tries to defuse the situation, but Ryder pushes the envelope too far, and as an instinctive response, Elise slaps him. Elise reels as Ryder rushes out of the cafe. At that moment, Chris, Ryder's twin (fortuitously), bursts into the cafe and approaches Elise, worried. He expresses regret for the incident and explains that Ryder, his twin, can sometimes a real pain in the ass. Stevie Moon's character Elise is wrapping up her shift at Chris promises to do anything he can to make up to Elise because there is no justification for what he did. Unexpectedly, Elise finds herself enthralled with this kind twin and even consents to go on a date with him following her shift. Every cloud appears to have a silver lining, somehow. However, after their date, when they return to Chris' place, Elise can't help but feel that there's something slightly strange about Chris as well, even though she's not entirely sure what it is. Elise agrees to play around because the night was enjoyable enough and she could need some positive reinforcement following her experience with Ryder. But when they get intimate, Chris appears to be getting crazy. He even asks Elise for anal intercourse, to which she consents. However, Elise still can't get rid of the idea that she's been tricked in some way, and that this twin's seeming genuineness may be a hoax.
