Brad Newman plays Mitch, a miserable husband and father. Over time, he and his spouse, Caroline (Rachael Cavalli), have grown distant. Mitch longs for the fire they had before it died out. He's just going through the motions right now, looking for anything, anything, to give him a sense of life again. When he visits a cafe one day and meets Ellie (Kenzie Reeves), a stunning barista, everything changes. She simply reminds me so much of Caroline from their courtship. It stirs up nostalgia within Mitch and also brings an idea to mind. He is lucky that Ellie is flirtatious because it doesn't take much to persuade her to accompany him home. The fact that he is married simply serves to fuel the flame because she doesn't care. When they get home, Ellie notices the striking similarity between Caroline and herself in a picture. At that point, Mitch offers that she have cosmetic surgery to mimic his wife's younger appearance so he can relive their golden years. Ellie is down, but at first Mitch worries he's gone too far. Mitch feels more alive than he has in a long time as she plays with her hair and convinces him to call her Caroline. With his heart racing, Mitch savours every moment as Ellie falls on him.
