Avery Black's character Deborah is shown in the opening scene speaking with the cops. She describes how her parents forced her to attend "Conversion Therapy Camp" when she told them she was a lesbian. There, she came under the control of Dr. Jerry (Tommy Pistol), who held her apart from the other ladies and subjected her to numerous trials in an attempt to "cure" her lesbianism. Deborah continues by saying that she eventually had enough and devised a strategy to permanently halt Dr. Jerry. CUTS TO TITLEReturning to the camp, we witness firsthand the events detailed in the interview, beginning with Dr. Jerry shaving in front of the mirror. Insinuating to himself that "every woman needs a man in shining armor," he says in a spooky way. He then appears to be getting ready for something as he enters a bedroom. A little later, he opens an incomplete closet and finds Deborah inside. It turns out that she has spent her entire time in the camp locked to this closet. To start their treatment session, Dr. Jerry invites her to come outside and sit on the bed. Deborah obeys Dr. Jerry's instructions even though it's obvious that she despises him, and they are seated across from one another. During a relaxation exercise, Dr. Jerry tells Deborah to try to relax as much as she can in his "male presence. " He goes on to explain his own goals, saying that he has made it his life's work to assist "confused" ladies like herself in realizing their mistakes. Deborah complies, doing her best to maintain a believable grin while acknowledging Dr. Jerry's kind touch. He then forces them to lie on the bed, side by side. Dr. Jerry encourages Deborah to enjoy herself while lecturing her, and finally he indulges her as well. They eventually engage in passionate intercourse as a result of this novel kind of treatment, all in an attempt to persuade Deborah that she is straight. Deborah wasn't lying when she claimed to have a strategy to permanently halt Dr. Jerry, though; she undoubtedly has something up her sleeve.
