Melody Marks, Sophia Locke's stepdaughter, walks into the kitchen while she is reading the newspaper. Melody is not feeling well after learning that the school board had approved the implementation of school uniforms, specifically conservative ones. Sophia KNOWS how much Melody loves to express herself via clothing, so when Melody learned that Sophia was one of the board members that supported this venture, she feels betrayed! Sophia makes no excuses, stating that since schools are meant to be places of learning, there need to be minimal interruptions. Melody says the school cannot determine what she wears or doesn't wear at home, so she protests by taking off her clothes. Sophia is taken aback, but Melody threatens to refuse to change back into her clothing unless Sophia consents to restore the kids' right to free speech. Sophia is attempting to ignore Melody as she flashes her nude body, but she finds herself becoming increasingly preoccupied. When she finally has enough, Sophia slams down her newspaper. Melody is asked to put her clothes back on by Sophia, but she refuses. Saying that she WON'T amend the dress code for school,
