Bryan (Pierce Paris) and Emma (Whitney Wright), a husband and wife team, are apprehensive about having to speak with their imminent landlady, Josephine (Dee Williams). It is made clear that the pair and the traditional landlady are at odds. Bryan and Emma ask Josephine to alter Emma's name on their mailbox to her last name for the THIRD time, since Emma's name is shown incorrectly, when she arrives, beaming. Josephine says Emma should just take Bryan's name since it's customary and doesn't see what the big deal is. Emma loses her temper, but Bryan intervenes to diffuse the conflict. Fortunately, Josephine is much more amenable to Bryan's request and leaves to change the name herself after he makes the direct request. However, things only get worse from there as Emma and Bryan get increasingly uncomfortable with Josephine due to her antiquated and sexist beliefs during their several interactions with her. It's obvious that Josephine believes Emma isn't acting like the proper housewife. Furthermore, she believes that Bryan is taking charge and leading the household. In spite of this, it appears that Josephine is focused on Bryan. At last, one day Josephine pays Bryan a visit while he's alone to offer a feigned apology for putting such a burden on their relationship. She concerns Bryan's lack of desire to be more authoritative and in control, thus it's obvious that it's a ruse. At that point, she begins to flirt with Bryan while pretending to be interested in a "real" man in an effort to cause him to question his marriage. Bryan feels uneasy and perplexed. This merely fanns the flames, and Josephone pursues him harder in an attempt to agitate him into acting on his most basic cravings. She chats Bryan up and explains the experience of having anal Emma is upset, but Bryan doesn't appear to be regretting anything—it appears that Josephine's remarks have finally affected him. Bryan confronts Emma, accusing her of being a control freak who never gives in to his desires. Bryan wants Emma to come over and JOIN them in order to PROVE it, even though Emma disputes this.
